JOB SUMMARY:
Create new features and upgrades, test software in order to evolve the current database using FileMaker Pro for both PC and Macintosh computers. Respond to problems that users report. Development of new databases as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Treat information on CCSA clients, employee or Board members in a confidential manner
- Continuous evolution and refinement of the current databases as necessary in order to provide an excellent product
- Maintain the current TEACH and WAGE$ FMP databases for North Carolina and other states
- Design new FMP database solutions as needed
- Respond to, and troubleshoot problems that the users report
- Train users and provide technical assistance as requested by manager
- Maintain good interpersonal and collaborative relationship with peer developers
- Develop and maintain a work plan
- Use established protocol for documentation for all activities related to database development

JOB SUMMARY: Provides technical assistance and training to help child care centers, family child care providers, Head Start programs, preschools and school-age programs achieve and maintain their program goals of higher quality, improve when compliance issues arise, learn about strategies to improve specific things when issues arise and open new child care programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Healthy Social Behavior Specialist
**This is a telecommute position with lots of daytime travel throughout the region (Wake, Franklin, Granville, Vance)**
JOB SUMMARY: The Behavior Specialist provides training, technical assistance, resources and support to the region’s CCR&R Quality Improvement staff and works in collaboration with licensing consultants, other community agency staff and child care programs to address challenging behaviors of children in child care settings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work collaboratively with the region’s CCR&R Quality Improvement staff and all other individuals providing technical assistance and training to child care providers in the region
- Work collaboratively with licensing consultants, abuse and neglect consultants, early intervention specialists, community college educators, child care health consultants, and health inspectors working with child care providers in the region
- Cultivate partnerships with other behavioral specialists, educators and mental health professionals to develop resources to assist child care providers/families in promoting positive behaviors in young children
- Promote awareness of the availability and resources of Behavior Specialists to child care providers and intermediary agencies
- Maintain a resource list of available social emotional practitioners, educators, mental health professionals and a protocol for making referrals and assistance in all regions
- Provide more than 19 technical assistance on-site visits in local licensed child care centers settings per month to mentor and assist teachers in promoting healthy social-emotional development, using the CSEFEL Pyramid Model
- Deliver presentations regionally in the area of social-emotional development and/or behavioral issues (up to 12 annually)
- Work collaboratively with other Behavior Specialists and the Project Manager to achieve the goals of the project and ensure successful evaluation
- Participate in the Project Evaluation Plan for Promoting Healthy Social Behaviors in Child Care Centers
- Participate in orientation and comprehensive training offered for Behavior Specialists
- Prepare and submit all required reports

NC CCR&R Council Statewide Mgr III
JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate efforts of the CCR&R Council, including management agencies, regional program manager, statewide special project managers and core service managers. Work cooperatively with members of the statewide CCR&R team to ensure consistency of protocol and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Treat information on CCSA clients, employees or Board Members in a confidential manner
- Coordinate the work of the CCR&R Council
- Facilitate Council meetings
- Coordinate and assure the consistency of delivery of services between and among regional program managers and statewide special project managers.
- Help plan the CCR&R Statewide conference or other training events
- Facilitate data collection, reporting and dissemination
- Present at local and statewide meetings
- Represent the CCR&R Council on statewide committees, as assigned
- Be well versed and use knowledge of the CCR&R system, the larger early care and education system in North Carolina and national data/trends in the field
