The POWER of INTERACTIONS and TECHNOLOGY – Part IV: Enrichment Materials for Children

In addition to the more meaningful interactions of teachers and children from the Infant Toddler Intensive Technical Assistance Model Pilot Program, each classroom that participated in the project received at least $2,500 in enrichment materials. These funds helped transform the classrooms for the benefit of all the children using the materials. These photos show just few examples of the wonderful materials children are using to learn and grow.

Looking back to last May 2020, we are excited to share some of the official data including post-CLASS and post-PAS assessments.

  • One-hundred (100) percent of Cohort 1 directors have increased their Program Administration Scale (PAS) scores in at least two subscales after coaching
  • One-hundred (100) percent of Cohort 1 teachers have increased their Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) score in at least one dimension after coaching
  • One-hundred (100) percent of Technical Assistance Specialists (TAs) report confidence in their ability to apply the intensive coaching and mentoring skills gained through the training and coaching received

Stay tuned for more data on what a strength-based, intensive technical assistance program can do for the outcomes of young children and the professionals that serve them.
