Working in Early Care and Education in North Carolina, 2019 Workforce Study Briefing Webinar
October 28 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Join Child Care Services Association (CCSA) and the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) as we share an overview of the statewide study results in a live briefing on the Working in Early Care and Education in North Carolina, 2019 Workforce Study.
Just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, surveys were collected from early care and education providers statewide including directors, teachers, teacher assistants and family child care providers. Mary Martin, Vice President, Systems Research and Development at CCSA and leader of the research team, will share basic statewide results from these surveys around the education, compensation, experience and demographics of the workforce. Program data will also be presented on key characteristics both of child care centers and family child care homes. Ariel Ford, Director and Kristi Snuggs, Deputy Director of DCDEE will also share remarks.
