Director of Development & Communications
Carolyn joined CCSA in May 2023, and is responsible for planning, developing, managing, implementing, and growing a comprehensive fundraising and communications plan with a focus on developing and cultivating individual and philanthropic support. She brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and fundraising. Previously she served for 14 years as the Membership and Volunteer Manager of WXXI Public Broadcasting in Rochester, NY where she oversaw the membership fundraising program. Her experience gives her a deep appreciation how nonprofits can strengthen a community through education and information. She enjoys developing relationships with donors and other community partners to transform shared beliefs and hopes into action.
Carolyn holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing and serves on the board of the Elna B. Spaulding Conflict Resolution Center.
