Sr. Vice President of Triangle Area Child Care Resource and Referral Services

As senior vice president of Triangle Area Child Care Resource and Referral Services at CCSA, Linda Chappel leads services and teams focused upon increasing equity and access to high quality early education. These teams implement family support, quality improvement technical assistance and professional development activities for North Carolina’s Region 12 of the CCR&R system, which includes Durham, Orange, Wake and six surrounding counties. Linda’s leadership portfolio also includes the statewide infant toddler technical assistance pilot project and Durham County’s universal preschool initiative, a multi-agency collaborative guided by a Governance Committee, parents, families and early childhood educators.

Before focusing on improving early education systems and increasing access to high quality pre-kindergarten and child care, Linda spent two decades in the public schools focused on parent and family engagement and extended learning opportunities for traditionally under-served youth.

She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Master’s in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
