Supports for child care, the early childhood workforce and early childhood homelessness were on the mind of our families, early childhood providers, advocates, politicians and communities in 2021.
Additional federal funds have arrived. Guidance documents are now available. It’s time to expand the partnerships necessary to ensure young children in families experiencing homelessness have access to high-quality child care and housing. It’s doable. It’s time to prioritize it.
Under the American Rescue Plan passed by Congress and enacted into law on March 11, a number of important changes were made to help make health insurance more affordable for individuals and families purchasing health care coverage through the federal marketplace, HealthCare.Gov.
Congress has spoken – with rules and funding. Now it’s up to each state to figure out the next steps as to how the new funding will be used best.
