Today is World Teachers’ Day, a time to acknowledge and thank the teachers in our classrooms for all they do to support, nurture and educate our children. What they could really use this World Teachers’ Day is better pay and benefits.
Tomorrow is Worthy Wages Day, but it’s long past time for early educators to earn the professional compensation and benefits they deserve.
